We Are Back! After losing our new transfer and recycling station in two devastating fires one year ago, we are pleased to announce our buidling is now complete!

Gene & Donna Bueckers want to publicly thank their incredible employees for the extra effort it has taken to keep the business going with no interruption of service to customers. Many thanks also go out to the residents and businesses in the surrounding communities for their continued support.

Join us at our OPEN HOUSE on May 31, 2008. We will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing facility tours and demonstrations all day, as well as a one-day only aluminum special!

ABOUT US

Family Owned & Operated.

On September 1st, 1976, Gene and Donna Bueckers bought the Sauk Centre refuse route (and the surrounding communities) along with one refuse truck.

Together, they turned an old cattle barn into a recycling center and transfer station, later adding their office.  Through years of hard labor, customer satisfaction and determination, our family business began to grow.  In 1995, Bueckers expanded their horizons to the city and surrounding communities of Willmar, Minnesota.  Thus began Willmar City Sanitation.

Today, both offices are family owned and successfully operated by Gene & Donna's daughters:  Missy Bueckers, Barb Hoppe, and Carrie Bueckers in Sauk Centre as 'Bueckers City Sanitation, Inc.' and Pam Nissen (with her husband Dan Nissen) in Willmar as 'Willmar City Sanitation'.

The rest of the crew consists of hard working and dedicated route drivers who help propel Bueckers to higher goals annually, as well as the office staff who keeps things running smoothly and sales department who are busy spreading the good word about Bueckers City Sanitation!  Gene and Donna have taken to all the employees as if each one were family.

The BCS family is proud to serve its community with refuse and an ever growing recycling program. We can be seen in area parades, fairs, doing educational presentations at school and community functions, as well as joining with various non-profit groups (such as Boy Scout Troop #25) to hold community clean up and recycling events.
